My gran has a postal vote and forgot to post it. She's filled it in and signed it can I take it to the polling station for her of or does she need to go herself?
Sorry to post here but I can't find it on Google to say if I can or cant? Thanks

I took my son's for him as he forgot to post it. There is a box that you can put postal votes in. Nobody asked any questions.

Yes, I took my DHs last time. As There is a box, you just pop it in!

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 12/12/2019 15:28

You can at mine, nobody checks who is putting what into the postal vote box.

Did she vote Tory? If so maybe post it in the bin en route...

(Tongue in cheek before everyone gets up in arms!!)

I've been posting making sure people know they can do this.

One poster has replied to say: don't just put the postal vote in any old box – ask the staff and make sure it goes in the right place!

(They'll count it whichever box, but wrong box will mess up their System.)
