What are your first thoughts, as to what's happening, in this accidental call/voicemail?

OP posts:
Marleyisme · 12/12/2019 15:14

OP, what do you think it is?

And do you not find it odd to go to these lengths to check where some is or what they are doing?

MarianaMoatedGrange · 12/12/2019 15:15

Chocolate hobnobs appeared to be winning before it cut off

Did you marry him knowing his strange biscuit preferences? Surely plain hobnobs are better for dunking? Or is he one of that strange breed of non dunkers?

Thestrangestthing · 12/12/2019 15:15

The repetitive noise sounds very familiar but I can't think what it is.
Can't here anyone saying anything though.

AravisQueenOfArchenland · 12/12/2019 15:16

The person said they were asleep in a chair?

OP posts:
pootroll · 12/12/2019 15:17

Probably from a Russian number station

msmith501 · 12/12/2019 15:17

Bed creaking?

Justmuddlingalong · 12/12/2019 15:18

At home?

fligglepige · 12/12/2019 15:18

Sounds like a Dalek going round knocking doors and briefly saying hello to people.

Marleyisme it only took a few minutes, until it came to uploading, that took what felt like an age.

OP posts:
Chunkers · 12/12/2019 15:23

Well, that’s 4 minutes of my life I’m not getting back!

Just sounds like someone walking with their phone in their pocket against coins or whatever.

OlaEliza · 12/12/2019 15:24

Sounds like phone in pocket, walking, making tea then more walking to me.

AravisQueenOfArchenland · 12/12/2019 15:25

This person has form for telling fibs, just wondered if it did sound like they were out and about, not dozing at home.

OP posts:
GiveHerHellFromUs · 12/12/2019 15:26

Was the chair made of crisp packets?

fligglepige · 12/12/2019 15:26

If he's a liar and you can't trust him then LTB

Marleyisme · 12/12/2019 15:27

I tell people I am places I am not. Because its non of their business. I hate people knowing where I am all the time.

CeCeLaine66 · 12/12/2019 15:32

Definitely walking and not sleeping. Also there was spoken words on there but not easy to make out. Unless this person sleep walks and talks and is also prone to making a cupping whilst having a snooze then someone’s telling porkys!

AravisQueenOfArchenland · 12/12/2019 15:32

Marleyisme yes but I take it you don't leave people voicemails, then offer an explanation when it was mentioned (I bet they have no credit left), without being asked.

OP posts:
Marleyisme · 12/12/2019 15:33

Depends on who it is.

AravisQueenOfArchenland · 12/12/2019 15:39

I don't like people knowing where I am either. I have a relative who will ring me, can always tell when I'm outdoors, and will then ask "where are you?!". Like I'm a shut in, who never leaves the house Confused.

In this case the silly pre-emptive lying, is really starting to grate, and makes me question other things they've said.

magicstar1 · 12/12/2019 15:52

If it was a guy in a chair, then he wasn't asleep...he was having a wank instead.

AravisQueenOfArchenland · 12/12/2019 15:52

So most of you heard someone walking?

"Obviously it could be someone having sex, but I don't think you should jump straight to that conclusion."

I didn't, (though it did cross my mind for a second Blush).

I hope not Crown Shock

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 12/12/2019 15:59

Could the person be lying because they’re buying Christmas presents?

MarianaMoatedGrange he’s a non dunker & I did marry him knowing this. It’s ok though because he doesn’t like plain or dark choc digestives which are my biscuit of choice (plain to dunk, choc for when I’ve not got a hot drink handy)
