Which explains all the voting threads.

Surely it should be off by default....otherwise there could be some interesting votes

I appreciate the irony of having switched off voting on this thread when it would have been useful!

Voting is fun - but it should be proactive to enable it, not to have to actively disable it.

I like it, it might stop all the 'posting for traffic' and non-AIBU posts.

I don't vote on threads and would turn it off if and when I created a post.
