To remind you that a Tory majority could mean a No Deal brexit in 2020 and no one could stop it

Just that.
The threat of no deal isn't dead.
For those who name it 'WTO terms' brexit: that particular organisation is under threat so not much hope there:

Who do you propose people vote for ?

SarahH12 · 11/12/2019 12:35

Yeah... and? What's your suggestion?

SilverySurfer · 11/12/2019 12:40

Fascinating.

HoHoHoik · 11/12/2019 12:41

What's your suggestion?

That if you don't want the possibility of a no deal Brexit, don't vote Tory.

How is that not clear from the OP?

LochJessMonster · 11/12/2019 12:42

Yes, and that is one of the reasons I am voting for them. HTH

RuffleCrow · 11/12/2019 12:42

I'm not sure about that unless they've purged all the remainers from their ranks?

IvinghoeBeacon · 11/12/2019 12:42

I have always assumed that anyone voting Tory is completely fine with no deal brexit, and I presume that they have taken the time to ensure they know what that means and they fully support it. The tories have been very clear that that is on their agenda. I can’t believe that people wouldn’t make sure that they are clear about the aims of the party they are voting for

PBo83 · 11/12/2019 12:43

If you don't want Brexit then don't vote Tory, it's that simple. I voted leave and I plan to vote Tory so it's an obvious choice for me.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 11/12/2019 12:43

Well a hung parliament has been working so well for the UK I dont see why we shouldnt continue with that..... Hmm

ComeBackPeterComeBackPaul · 11/12/2019 12:46

Yep, it has not been the election issue it should have been. I'm sure voting Conservative is more likely to end in a no deal than a Brexit deal, which is fine if that is what people actually want. I am using my vote tactically because I think this is a single issue election and, if we do sell the NHS to Trump, it (the NHS) really won't have been such an election issue after all.

crispysausagerolls · 11/12/2019 12:47

But we don’t even know what the alternative would be under labour...

Cheesecake53 · 11/12/2019 12:49

YANBU

IvinghoeBeacon · 11/12/2019 12:51

“But we don’t even know what the alternative would be under labour...”

So? They aren’t campaigning on a “get brexit done” slogan. If you’re completely happy with a no-deal brexit and all that entails, vote Tory, you’re giving them carte Blanche. If you’re not comfortable with that, don’t vote for them.

AutumnCrow · 11/12/2019 12:58

Johnson has spun so many lies about his ridiculous 'oven ready deal' - perhaps people think they're voting for a nice little cottage pie, not the cold cup of sick they're going to get.

Or they do actually know that there will be cold cups of sick, but assume that they will only be given to other people. Yeah, that's probably it.

SarahH12 · 11/12/2019 13:03

My point was what's the alternative - Labour? It's a sad state of affairs when I feel like hell would freeze over before I vote Labour and so if it's a choice between Labour and Conservative then I'd vote Conservatives.

crispysausagerolls · 11/12/2019 13:06

“So?”

I don’t appreciate your aggressive tone! My “so” is that “so how do you know labour won’t end in no deal Brexit”? You don’t. JC has flip flopped re his remain stance since the word go. He initially swore a second referendum would never happen. I don’t think he CAN discount a no deal Brexit! That’s my “so”!

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 11/12/2019 13:09

They aren’t campaigning on a “get brexit done” slogan.....no they are campaigning on a .....hmmm...lets go back and forth for another 3 years not knowing what we are asking for as JC doesnt have a preference or opinion

ComeBackPeterComeBackPaul · 11/12/2019 13:10

Really not a JC fan but I think this is such a single issue GE that I will do whatever it takes .............. and then we can sort out everyting else when we have secured a deal or decided to stay. I am more scared of BJ's no deal than anything else right now.

A Tory vote is an active vote for no deal brexit, a labour vote is an active vote for a second referendum (which may include no deal, though I personally think it is immoral to put something as damaging as “no deal” to a referendum), and a LD vote is an active vote for revoke. The parties have been pretty clear about their agendas.

micromoomin · 11/12/2019 13:16

Great! Thanks OP, can't wait to vote Tory tomorrow! 🥳

hamstersarse · 11/12/2019 13:18

It is a negotiating requirement. You can't take it off the table unless you want a shitty deal

Basic stuff

rosie1959 · 11/12/2019 13:20

A labour government means yet another deal Another vote
Remain wins this time by a small amount
Then what ? That's going to be really popular one big shit storm with leaves

Moonmelodies · 11/12/2019 13:37

Some say if Labour win there is a danger of a no-deal Brexit while the government drags out interminable negotiations, referendum arguments, prorogations and the inevitable parliamentary bun-fighting, all while postponed deadlines come and go.

Songsofexperience · 11/12/2019 13:42

You've just described the last 3 years of Tory government.
