AIBU to tell you how happy I am to be going to my first nativity tomorrow?

I was diagnosed with cancer just after my daughter turned two, seeing her in her first nativity at school was not something I was expecting to be around for. I'm currently in remission, despite being told I'm stage 4 and can't be cured. AIBU to be absolutely to the point of weeping happy that I'll be seeing her on stage in the morning and to ask what you're happy about right now too and start a little happy thread? Xmas Smile

@Walnutwhipster I wish you many many more happy Christmases too. ❤️

@MintyMabel That is incredibly special, you must have been so proud. 😍

I've had a right little sob this evening after all these lovely responses, hopefully it's got it out of my system a bit.

Jeds55 · 10/12/2019 13:07

So happy for you and your DD. Have a fantastic Christmas.
It's not a nativity without someone on stage crying!
Am so grateful for my DD, long time to conceive, 1 mc before, 2 after, she may be my only and know I am so lucky. Love that time when I collect her from nursery before she knows that I'm there and I see her being a little person in the big world (she's 20 months) haven't explained well but burst with pride all the time

MinistryOfTragic · 10/12/2019 13:20

@Jeds55 That's a great age, and what a blessing she is for you after struggling. I bet you can't wait for her first nativity. ❤️
