Argos: Filters - Items in stock!'

When looking on the Argos app there should be a filter for all items in stock for delivery / local collection.

I'm clicking on everything at the min just to check it's frustrating.

There may already be this feature on the actual website before anyone starts calling me out but as far as I'm aware there isn't / wasn't!!

No AIBU just a thought 😃

@RubyRed24 After looking at something on their website for what seems like weeks, I completely agree. It is constantly out of stock and it's impossible to ask anyone about it. Does no-one update the website?

It's really irritating me too. There has been a garden sofa set I've been checking on. It says limited stock but everyone time I try to order it isn't available for collection or delivery in my area. It seems they don't have a central warehouse like most places do. Very annoying.

I totally agree. Trying to find a printer in stock was such a difficult process, in the end I gave up and ordered from Curry’s. I don’t see why it has to be so hard!

There isn't a filter on the desktop, as far as I know. I agree it would be very useful.

It’s so frustrating when swathes of things are out of stock but you don’t know until you’ve clicked on each one individually. I was looking at printers (along with everyone else it seems), and everything on the first page was out of stock. I’d wasted so much time and got so irritated looking at them all individually I didn’t bother looking at the other pages and just gave up.

It is the most useless website and ordering system. No option to say “email me when it’s in” I’ve already emailed them with my suggestion but I just can’t buy anything from them!

They also have things that show on their website as being in stock but when you try to order, for home delivery, it suddenly decides that that particular item isn't available for delivery to that particular address. And you can't order it to be delivered to your nearest store either. Very frustrating.

Something that annoys me about Argos is when they have a product selling at something like half price and when you click on it it's out of stock, so not so much of a bargain after all.

I'm guessing they keep things like that on the website in case they get any returns and then it will be available to buy.

After weeks of looking I finally managed to buy my daughter a bike for her birthday. It was faulty and the after sales communication was utter shite.
I eventually returned it but couldn’t get an exchange although did get swift refund.
Now I can’t get hold of a budget bike anywhere.

I had this with B and Q as well - so frustrating! And then when I got through, having checked everything was ‘in stock’ at my local store it then suddenly said none of the items were available and wiped them from my basket. I imagine they all just have an archaic website system behind the scenes and have had an explosion in online shopping in lockdown.

Another laugh was booking a weekend away for friends at champneys. Booked 2 rooms, checked back and the online portal only mentions 1. I called up customer helpline only for them to say that yes that’s how the system works, to trust them I had booked 2 rooms and everyone asks about it but they can’t get their website fixed.
