AIBU?
To throw the whole pram away
shas19 · 08/12/2019 12:53
My daughters spilt milk in the seat of her silver cross pioneer and I can not get the smell out. I've tried hand washing it and then it just has a damp smell. Cam I take the black seat liner off and put it in the wash or just get a whole new seat!?
Am I being unreasonable?

The straps should come off and the seat fabric is usually removable it sometimes has a wooden board in the bottom you can slip out depending on the model of the pram have you tried YouTube for a video of how to remove the fabric ? If it won't come off try a mix of washing up liquid and distilled vinegar to wash it down with a damp cloth and then when its dry it shouldn't smell as vingar kills the bacteria causing the odours

Omg, those are really expensive aren’t they.
I would try to use vinegar and water as pp mentioned. And use a steam cleaner after that.
That’s how my friend managed to remove the smell of cat pee from her carpet.
I would also try to contact the manufacturer perhaps they have some ideas. Maybe it’s possible to deassemble some parts and clean them individually? I am sure you’re not the first parent to deal with this problem.
Good luck

i once had to get rid of lingering smells in a flat - & read online about white vinegar - you just leave a bowl of it out for a few days.
I was v sceptical, but a bowl in each room certainly rid the flat of really pervasive cigarette smell - and it wasn't replaced by a vinegary odour.
I sold the flat really quickly, although others in the development had been on the market for months.
Try leaving a bowl inside the pram.
