Can you tell us what it was like when you were a teenager / young adult?
When I was younger, I thought The Communards video Dont Leave Me This Way was an accurate picture of what was happening at the time. m.youtube.com/watch?v=1RHBAd5YUR8
But then as I further examined Section 28 and the various reactions to it, I thought that it probably wasn’t, but just was a «taken to the nth degree» version...
But since I’ve got older again,I’ve thought that maybe that was true for some sections of society.
Anyone in the demographic care to share their lived experience? I’m 45, btw, so it’s not like this is ancient history for me, I’m just that bit too young to have been affected...
