They've obviously had some complaints, so have just taken it down, but here's a screen shot

Jesus H. Seriously?! That’s gross.

ElfridaEtAl · 06/12/2019 16:57

I did snigger but bloody hell, that's a but inappropriate. I can just imagine a curious child "What's that lady doing, mummy?" Blush

CrashDiet · 06/12/2019 16:57

Blush I smiled a bit. Ooops.

MeeceAndMice · 06/12/2019 16:59

Maybe not the best for kids to see but it made me laugh 😂

PumpkinP · 06/12/2019 17:01

Yuck, I don’t think it’s funny.

Didn’t Poundland do something similar before?? I vaguely remember another inappropriate add people complaining about but can’t remember what it was

Namestranger · 06/12/2019 17:08

We just had a good laugh about this in the office Crown Grin

Cocolapew · 06/12/2019 17:10

Was it them that did the elf teabagging one?

LaurieFairyCake · 06/12/2019 17:12

Also laughed

ArgusFilchsCat · 06/12/2019 17:13

Grim

KurriKurri · 06/12/2019 17:15

It makes me not want to eat Cadbury's fingers ever again.

ch3rrycola · 06/12/2019 17:15

Laughed too, oops

PumpkinP · 06/12/2019 17:16

Was it them that did the elf teabagging one?

Yes that’s the one!

ItsNovemberNotChristmas · 06/12/2019 17:23

Laughed

itcoldoutside · 06/12/2019 17:23

Well it's Poundland , I'm not surprised . It's hardly John Lewis . Different ads for different customers I guess .

ItsChristmaaaaaaaaas · 06/12/2019 17:23

Ooooo! That’s horrible.

redexpat · 06/12/2019 17:23

I'm a feminist, but ... I laughed.

CorBlimeyGovenor · 06/12/2019 17:56

Surely this has to be a joke. There is no way that Cadbury's would allow their product to be marketed in this way by one of their suppliers, surely?!!

Aragog · 06/12/2019 18:01

They have form.

To the pp - they don't access the individual companies iirr. The last time the company involved (Twinings I think) complained to them about it.

It's crass. I don't like it and don't think it's necessary not appropriate tbh.

Sparklesocks · 06/12/2019 18:05

They are known for their rude ads. They do it on purpose to get social media attention so they get in the press and more people talk about them and get their brand out there. It’s cynical but works. Here was one from last year
