He's 17 and pretty reasonable BUT he spends more and more time OUT of the Flat with his friends and girlfriend... our flat is TINY (two bedrooms and a broomcupboard he has and only 1 bathroom/toilet) but it's lovely as huge communal garden/brilliant area and only 5 mins from all schools... for Mum, Dad and 4 sons inc two small children of 5 and 7... we don't like the GF to stay overnight (flat's just too small and little boys giggle at his 'sexing') and we don't allow him out late Sun-Thurs (back by 11) back by 1am Fri/Sat and ALL NIGHT only by prior agreement. He's flunked a key A/S (predicted B scraped a D) and GF expelled from her school for poor attendance. Are we right to put our foot down now and demand only 1 night out Sun-Thurs, homework done (with proof) before MSN/TV and PCs/Laptop off by 11pm? Seems fair to us as he MUST get good A level grades Summer '08 and he's drifting off course on the evidence of '07? Are we being unreasonable?
