To ask you for your favourite wine from aldi

I do my shopping at Aldi but have never really tried their wine. I'd like to ask you for recommendations for your favourite or go to wine from Aldi for my next shop

The organic Prosecco is very good

There’s an organic Pinot Grigio in a stubby shaped bottle that’s lovely. There’s a Prosecco in the same shaped bottle as well.

Also second the toro loco (I bought it because of the name)

The Albariño is lovely, they don’t always have it in though.

Their cremant is amazing.... about £8 and a really drinkable expensive tasting fizz 🥂🥂🥂

Ooops, I got the name wrong, it's Rockstone Ridge Merlot.

The Toro Loco rose is also really good. It featured (Saturday Kitchen I think) on a wine segment and cake out as one of the better supermarket rose wines you can buy.

Another vote for the Andarra Chilian merlot - the sauvignon blanc is very nice too

The silver label Prosecco is very nice.

The Exquisite range Argentine Malbec is phenomenal value at £5.99 a bottle.

I have bought a bottle of this today instead of my usual Toro Loco!

Freeman's Bay. I'm not a Sauvignon blanc drinker really but that one was lovely.

I love their Fiano.

They do a whispering angel dupe called something like Les Fleuris, in a very elaborate bottle. I usually get the rose but I got the sparkling yesterday, yet to have. The rose is DELICIOUS though so definitely recommend.

The Argentinian Malbec is my favourite. They also do a lovely dry sparkling rose, but I can’t remember what it’s called.

They have a lush Pinot noir

They have a really nice Chilean Pinot noir at the moment. Esteves Reserva I think it’s called.

The Malbec is good , for me the Toro Loco is gut rot

I’m a big fan of Sainsbury’s wine their own label stuff - never had a bad bottle and great value

the Fleurie is a lovely light red

There's a very nice pinot noir/chardonnay blend (a white) which is worth a try.

I'm bringing this thread back to life as I am a total Aldi convert during this lock down. I am no longer prepared to be ripped off in Tesco and Waitrose.

I love the limestone coast unpacked Chardonnay, and DH likes both Toro Loco’s.
