I don't want to spend more than £100 so no Rolex, but where would you look for a mans watch at that price?

I bought DP one from Fossil. Its unusual skeleton face as in you can see all the moving parts.
It was £120 so a little over your budget but wirth it imo.

jewellers

Daniel Wellington watches are lovely if you're looking for a classic, simple design. I bought my partner one five years ago and it's still going strong. Also, try Brand Alley - they always seem to have watches in their sales!

Skagen have some great reductions this week

NewPapaGuinea · 29/11/2019 07:46

What style are you after?

Drizzzle · 29/11/2019 07:47

Argos!

Yabadee · 29/11/2019 07:49

Gumtree have some lovely watches in just now, I just got DP a Hugo boss one for Christmas for 130, but there are some cheaper ones

AllTheCakes · 29/11/2019 08:03

I really rate Movement. They have 20% off today.

Argos

ShatnersWig · 29/11/2019 08:16

Are you sure he wants one?

Only ask because I never wear watches and in the past I've been bought them by relatives or partners.

Lockheart · 29/11/2019 08:25

Literally any high street or you could always try Google. Why would you post this in AIBU???

Itsnotalwaysme · 29/11/2019 08:50

Debenhams usually have some really nice mens watches and might have some good black Friday deals on?

spanglydangly · 29/11/2019 09:27

Thank you for all your advice!

@Pityparty4one I got one from fossil, 30% discount, another 10% off via a voucher and free engraving!

Thank you so much Thanks

*when I say via a voucher, I found an online discount code voucher!

spanglydangly · 29/11/2019 09:33

@Lockheart is your ? key stuck?

Now let me think, why would I be posting this on AIBU?

A. For traffic

B. For recommendations

C. Because I got some recommendations, that I wouldn't have thought of, got the watch I like, it engraved and discounted from £119 to £74.97.

I'm glad I posted on AIBU, I'm glad you're not the board police.

You have a nice cheery day and don't open posts and make snarky comments when the title is clear? You're only wasting your own time. 🙄

@ShatnersWig he deffo wants one, he had not been without a watch since I met him 36 years ago, his current one just broke. I told him he had to wait until Christmas (he is a nightmare to buy for, this is a perfect present).

In the two days since it was broken he must've looked at his wrist 50 times to see the time.

Like you, I never wear a watch.

Wow great discount!

Hope he likes it Smile

spanglydangly · 29/11/2019 09:42

@Pityparty4one he will love it, I know the style he likes and it's perfect for him.
