Very gross picture I just coughed this up any Docters and ENT specialists about?

At the moment I have got tonsillitis and am currently on penicillin for 10 days they have already made a huge difference. For the last few weeks I have felt like something has been stuck at the back of my throat and nothing would shift it I also had an ear infection lately aswell I dont know if it's relevant but I heard it's all connected.....Anyway the doctor prescribed me some nasal steroid spray which didn't help at all.
Now today I've coughed up 2 of these this is just one of them I've took a picture of both sides. It's not phlegm like it's a bit hard and gel like any ideas what it could be? I feel like theres a bit left too am hoping it will come up later?
Sorry I know this is gross ABIU to even ask?

They look like tonsil stones. My daughter gets them since she had a bad case of tonsillitis.

In fact she can press on it and they pop out. It's gross but equally fascinating! Google it.

Tonsil stones are usually white or creamy coloured...I dont think those look like tonsil stones....do they smell op?

Arent tonsil stones hard though this is abit squishy.

Looks like hard mucous to me. The cillia (little hairs) in my airway are damaged due to stenosis and I cough mucous. Sometimes it’s hard. I feel like something stuff cough and cough and then it comes up as a solid round pea sized lump.

It smells nasty if it’s a mucous lump.

I’ve been ill with cough sore throat and sinuses for 7 weeks now, I had this yesterday but smaller. It was minging! I think maybe just a build up of stubborn mucus and things

Nope definitely not seen this picture before I've only just took it today. I have had tonsillitis before and coughed something equally as gross I out it in sporner corner I've name changed since then.

It didn't smell at all.

Watching as I tend to cough these up after tonsillitis too.

Yeah I had those when I had a sinus infection. Kind of grisly

I had one of those a few years back. The doctor told me it was a sinus plug and the incredibly sore throat I had was actually the crap backed up in my sinuses dripping down my throat. I couldnt even swallow my own saliva but as soon as that came out the pain went, instantly.
Never had one since but I was totally freaked at the time
