Making macarons for the first time in ages and every batch is sticking to the paper! I've made them in the past and they've worked fine.

Using this recipe. The first batch were a disaster cooking at the recommended temp (they were in for over an hour and still stuck!) so I've tried a slightly higher temp on this batch.

Any ideas?

Are you using the right type of paper? Sometimes it's greaseproof which won't work...you need proper parchment / baking paper.
I think you need to let them fully cool also, before you try to remove them.

Are you using wax paper or parchment paper? I find parchment paper works better. I use silpat mats now.

Thanks. It's grease proof paper. I had proper silpats last time so that makes sense.
