How do you eat Weetabix?

I like to eat 2 Weetabix with warm milk which has been heated in the microwave. I wait until it's soggy so it's a porridge like consistency. I don't add anything else.

I've always eaten it like this, couldn't eat it any other way.

Is this odd? How do you eat yours?

Anyone tried lidls own chocolate weetabix? They are amazing ❤❤❤

TheNinkiestNonk · 28/11/2019 11:10

I'm scared of these people that eat Weetabix with butter. Part of me wonders how the hell this works, the other part never wants to hear of this again!

Untrained · 28/11/2019 11:12

Oh I miss Weetabix. I had to stop eating/buying them though as I had a bit of an issue with my portion sizes..it was six at a time, just plain with enough milk to make them 'claggy' rather than soggy.

mistydayswampwitch · 28/11/2019 11:14

Lots of hot foamy milk and all mashed up. I like to add a bit of sugar or honey or even sometimes a tea spoon of hot choc powder and mix it through (instead of not as well as sugar)

Millie2013 · 28/11/2019 11:17

With the absolute minimum of milk and lots of sugar. I don’t eat it out of choice though, only when in hospital and it’s that vs soggy toast Grin

Poing · 28/11/2019 11:23

Honey on top before milk, then add milk til spft. The honey layer is crunchy and sweet and the rest is soft.

Mypathtriedtokillme · 28/11/2019 11:27

Crushed and baked in the base of chocolate biscuits.

user1496146479 · 28/11/2019 11:31

Cold milk, sugar and left to go soggy & then mixed up in the bowl!

Cineraria · 28/11/2019 11:44

I chop up a cold Granny Smith apple from the fridge, crumble the weetabix over it and drizzle golden syrup over it. No milk. It's pudding or a snack, not breakfast.

DC have theirs microwaved with 100ml almond milk per weetabix and then have a tablespoon of finely ground pumpkin seed and a tablespoon of fruit butter (homemade concentrated 100% fruit preserve) in it.

In a cake, obvs. Makes a delicious fruit cake.

mumofone2818 · 28/11/2019 11:47

either with syrup and hot milk or a little sugar and cold milk!

bellinisurge · 28/11/2019 12:01

Ice cold milk. Crunch still there but maybe just a hint of getting softer. Quickly if it looks like the crunch is under threat. Cup of tea close at hand.

OriginalMe · 28/11/2019 12:02

Ah weetabix was my favourite as a child before I was diagnosed with Coeliac disease aged 5! I loved it with cold milk so it was mushy, and as much sugar as my mum would let me have! I still crave it aged 29! My 4yo doesn't like it so I can't even live through him!

TabbyMumz · 28/11/2019 12:02

With milk, heated, mushy and covered with sugar.

reginafelangee · 28/11/2019 12:07

Cold milk with a bit of sugar.

Never warm or hot.

BadgeronaMoped · 28/11/2019 12:10

Very quickly with ice cold milk, I'm not keen on it when it's soggy.
Used to LOVE a thick coating of sugar but I don't do that any more Smile

Amanduh · 28/11/2019 12:11

Hot with milk and sugar, mixed up to porridge consistency. So comforting!

snowone · 28/11/2019 12:12

Depends on the day.....

Warm day - cold milk, sugar on top, eat quickly before it goes soggy.

Cold day - warm milk, sugar on top, wait for warm mush!

itsme · 28/11/2019 12:14

Either hot or cold soggy with a spoonful of sugar. Absolute favourite cereal.

Seren85 · 28/11/2019 12:17

Hot milk, tiny bit of sugar, all mushed up to porridge consistency. Best cold weather breakfast ever.

YouSetTheTone · 28/11/2019 13:00

BUTTER?! Wtaf?
WTAF.
I can’t even....

Rezie · 28/11/2019 13:04

Cold milk. Wait till soggy. Honey, blueberries and nuts on top.

Giraffey1 · 28/11/2019 13:07

Haven’t eaten Weetabix for years, but I used to love it with butter and marmite!

Yarboosucks · 28/11/2019 13:10

2 with cold milk and a teaspoon of sugar. Only enough milk to make it soggy but not wet.

Then it goes to quickly and I wonder if another 2 would be a sin.

user1480880826 · 28/11/2019 13:10

@MyDcAreMarvel are you sure you mean tablespoon?! That’s an enormous amount of sugar. How are your teeth?
