Such a relief for all of us especially for our children who would have been saddled with our debt under Corbyn’s plan

NHS and Ambulance Service underfunded
Schools underfunded
Prisons underfunded
Police underfunded
Fire Service underfunded
Chronic system of care for the most vulnerable
People forced to work til they drop
Crisis in housing
Almost impossible to get a NHS dentist in some areas
Rail Service chronic in many areas

Yes - great to know not spending money has made our society such a success.
Funny how bankers were never brought to account for the banking crisis - oh wait, is it because they are likely to vote Tory?
Funny how Rees Mogg and Johnson have their funds stashed out of the UK, safely away from the financial crisis at home.

We have become such a self serving, bugger my neighbour society since Thatcherism - and Johnson is further right that her.

And I'm one of the comfortably off people who worked my fingers to the bone to get to the top of my profession - but I still give a dam about everybody else. What kind of society are we passing on to our kids if we don't show common humanity and work for the good of all.
Some of the poorest people are those that will stitch you up after your fall, wipe your bottom in your care home and keep the criminals off your streets. You need to give a dam about them too!

Brexit has to happen and soon and the Tories are the only ones to say it will. Labour will just drag it on and on with a second referendum.

MintChocAddict · 28/11/2019 00:20

I presume you or a loved one doesn't rely on the NHS to provide life saving medication and care?
Neither did I a few years ago. Your life can flip in a heartbeat. Hope you don't regret your choices.

TopBitchoftheWitches · 28/11/2019 00:21

Oh look, another positive Tory thread. 🙄🙄🙄 Some of us women are able to make our own minds up about who to vote for.

This shit is ridiculous.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 28/11/2019 00:21

Sigh of relief, yanbu.

AgeLikeWine · 28/11/2019 00:22

YABU.

The election is over, the Tories will win a comfortable majority. I’m disappointed but not at all surprised.

Corbyn has been a complete disaster as Labour leader. Any other reasonably competent leader, eg Starmer, Cooper would have hammered the shambolic Tories who are there for the taking. It is a tragedy for the country that we are stuck with 5 more years of the Tories because Corbyn is useless and unelectable.

Yappy12 · 28/11/2019 00:22

Remember it's oven ready to go at gas mark 6. folks.

Craft74 · 28/11/2019 00:22

Why is having an opinion means I should lick Boris’ arse. Or I’m an arsehole or a dick!! I have an arsehole but I don’t have a dick nor do I want to lick any arse including Boris’!

And in relation to your other comments, OP, I’m at a loss as to why anyone would vote for the mendacious, misogynistic oaf that is Johnson. His Brexit madness has taken the Tory party from a one-nation, pro-business vibe to a far right, de-regulation on steroids vibe. Hard Brexit is anti business and takes away rights from all of us. And beyond the Brexit madness, don’t you care about social justice and environmental protections? I’m not saying you have to vote Labour - vote tactically to stop a Tory majority. Check out your own constituency. Simple.

MintChocAddict · 28/11/2019 00:26

You're a dick craft74 because you've set up a profile specifically to antagonize. Thst makes you a dick and an arsehole.

StoneofDestiny · 28/11/2019 00:26

Brexit has to happen and soon
We are years away from "Brexit happening" - Johnson's shit about making it happen is as big a con as the 'facts' he dished up leading to the referendum 3 years ago.
It has been a nightmare created by Tory Cameron and fanned by Fascist Farage ever since, Bawbag Johnson jumping into the Brexit bandwagon as he saw it as his way to the top!

NoFun21 · 28/11/2019 00:26

Here here!
I’m joking.
You just be joking!
Our planet and our children are doomed if the tories win.

Tootyfilou · 28/11/2019 00:27

Oh yes we will ALL be much better off without the NHS. Hope you are happy subjecting your children to the avarice of private health insurance companies. Do not get old, or sick or disabled. Just stay in your selfish blinkered entitled bubble.

WendyMoiraAngelaDarling · 28/11/2019 00:27

Boris was born to be PM. Hard-working, honest, kind and will get Brexit done

WTAF did I just read?! You're taking the piss aren't you? Nice one Grin

Craft74 · 28/11/2019 00:27

@OPTIMUMMY no I’m not on the top 5% earning £80k I wish, much much less, less than half, as a lower earner I will be taxed more if labour got in because of the marriage couple tax allowance removal.

OP posts:
DioneTheDiabolist · 28/11/2019 00:28

Austerity only came about as the labour government spent too much and didn’t save for a crisis.

That's not true OP. A global financial fuck up happened because capitalism went unchecked. Austerity was an ideological solution that made the poorest pay for this. Typical Tories.Hmm

GoldLeafTree · 28/11/2019 00:28

This is your third thread today Hmm

Craft74 · 28/11/2019 00:30

If labour get in there is no hope for the NHS as it can’t be funded as the country will be screwed. We need labour to be a credible alternative.

OP posts:
DrReed · 28/11/2019 00:30

The NHS will disappear under labour as the country will be bankrupt and can’t afford it

You realise when the NHS was founded after WW2 we had a national debt of 270% of GDP. Now our national debt is about 85% of GDP. The NHS isn't going anywhere for a while. At least not until Boris sells it off.

malificent7 · 28/11/2019 00:31

Oh yippie...not.

UndomesticHousewife · 28/11/2019 00:31

Why didn't Labour get rid of Corbyn get someone better and less controversial in, and put together a believable less pie in the sky manifesto? They would get the majority.

I don't like Boris I don't think he's right for the country at all but against Corbyn he will likely win.

Yappy12 · 28/11/2019 00:32

WendyMoiraAngelaDarling

No but I do worship the ground Boris walks on. We've needed a strong decisive PM for ages.

MintChocAddict · 28/11/2019 00:32

Since you're apparently new around here OP perhaps I could advise you not to let the door slam you on the arse on your way out. See ya

Craft74 · 28/11/2019 00:33

I love the fact that it was apparently the tories fault that there was austerity! Australia didn’t have this, because they saved! LABOUR CAUSED AUSTERITY

OP posts:
Yappy12 · 28/11/2019 00:33

Oh and who gives a flying fuck about climate change? I don't, and Trump doesn't. It's not man-made anyway, all-natural.
