Anyone who will stop the Conservatives. Conservatives will destroy the country.

Makinganewthinghappen · 25/11/2019 23:03

Renoir - I know ! I have a friend who is on long term disability benefit and is really incredibly badly off NOW and yet she is voting conservative . I don’t get into political discussions with friends (you know becausr I’d like to keep some Grin) but this really bogles my mind.

Cornishclio · 25/11/2019 23:05

I last voted Conservative in 2015 and Lib Dem in 2017. This year I am voting Labour. I absolutely detest our local conservative mp but she has a large majority. Last time I voted tactically Lib Dem as in the past they have come second but Labour came second in 2017 and Conservatives increased their majority. Lib Dems came nowhere. I am not a lover of Corbyn but I think the damage the Conservatives have done to this country is awful and I fear we are moving more and more to the right. I would also like to stop Brexit and I figure voting Labour is our best bet for that.

DontMakeMeShushYou · 25/11/2019 23:05

I'm doing a vote swap with a friend. I'll vote Labour (his choice) as they stand a reasonable chance of beating the duplicitous Tory in our seat. He'll use my Lib Dem vote to try to ensure the Lib Dem MP in his constituency keeps their seat and keeps the Tories out.

Ifartglitterybaubles · 25/11/2019 23:08

Labour. A few reasons why...

NHS HCP so see just how much damage the Conservatives have done.

Eldest has ASD, failed by his old school who withdrew all the support he was having as he doesn't have an EHCP, numerous staff cuts and they couldn't afford to offer any help. When you log on to Patent pay a see an item labelled School fund £15 for each child each term as they need donations to provide the basics.

Our local Labour MP unseated the Tory incumbent at the last election and has been really good.

The two and a half year wait on a CAMHs ASD assessment waiting list before our son could even be diagnosed due to cuts. To then get that holy grail appointment, get the diagnosis and be discharged straight after without support. The cuts meant he didn't meet the recently raised criteria for intervention, despite needing ongoing help. If he was referred now he wouldn't even make the waiting list as the criteria has been raised again to try and reduce the scandalous waiting times.

I don't like Jeremy Corbyn that much but I'm voting for the policies not the person.

stophuggingme · 25/11/2019 23:09

Labour.

IVEgotthetinselBITCHES · 25/11/2019 23:09

Labour, i work with children and see the hardship they face due to UC etc

Ifartglitterybaubles · 25/11/2019 23:10

parent pay

millymoo1202 · 25/11/2019 23:10

SNP for me

SeperatedSwans · 25/11/2019 23:10

Plaid Cymru, our mp is lovely and works hard for the community.

Krisskrosskiss · 25/11/2019 23:13

I hope that labour manage to form a minority government..
I've got high hopes our tory mp will be ousted here... tbh hes awful and the labour mp is absolutely lovely...
The polls say the tories will win but they were way out last time... and a lot of young people have registered to vote since then
I think Corbyn is coming across really well in the debates and on the campaign trail whereas Boris is not doing well..
So fingers crossed

woolie34 · 25/11/2019 23:14

Labour. I have always voted Labour, but support corbyn more than previous party leaders. I admire his voting track record, and his lifelong work for human rights, in particular for minorities, and his work in trying to achieve peace. I think he is genuine. I like the manifesto, it has all the things I would want from a party.

MotherofTerriers · 25/11/2019 23:16

Holding my nose and voting Tory for the first time. Least worst

JustBeingJobless · 25/11/2019 23:17

Labour. Currently live in a conservative area, but only by a very small amount, and no point voting for any of the others really as not a cat in hells chance of them getting in. I’ve never been a labour voter, but I’m ready for a change.

notquiteruralbliss · 25/11/2019 23:20

Labour. I support their policies. And their leader appears to be a decent human being.

MajesticWhine · 25/11/2019 23:20

Libdem, because I agree with them on the areas of Brexit, public spending and voting reform.
I could not vote for Boris or Brexit. I am not keen on Corbyn and I don't trust labour with the economy.

Lumene · 25/11/2019 23:22

Not Labour. Not Lib Dem. Not Green. Hate Boris.

Fuck.

Lumene · 25/11/2019 23:24

And their leader appears to be a decent human being.

Then why has the chief Rabbi just said he doesn’t believe Corbyn is fit for office?

TulipsTulipsTulips · 25/11/2019 23:26

Conservative

Drabarni · 25/11/2019 23:28

labour.

I like what they stand for and I'm an ethnic minority, I go by past action from JC and JO. BJ and PP are racist and discriminatory to my families culture.
Didn't want a referendum in the first place but would gladly vote again if it meant a possibility of not leaving the EU.

SheOfManyNames · 25/11/2019 23:31

I wanted to go Green, but no candidate in my seat. I'll probably go LD or Labour. Can't vote Tory. I think it's a genetic overhang from my miner ancestors.
To be honest I'm not excited about any of them. I'll probably do a ip dip to choose between the two on the day, as it's a safe Tory seat anyway. Grin

FREEM · 25/11/2019 23:33

lucky enough to be able to vote SNP

SheOfManyNames · 25/11/2019 23:34

Holding my nose and voting Tory for the first time. Least worst
Fucking depressing that this current shower is anyone's least worst. (and that to refers to anyone who thinks either labour or Tory are "least worse"- what a choice to have to make).

SpoonBlender · 25/11/2019 23:35

Holding my nose and voting labour, so as to try and unseat our absolute turd of a Tory MP - a real actively misogynist racist shit of the old school. We were about 50% Tory, 45% Labour, 5% Other last election so it'll be worth it.

fruitandbarley · 25/11/2019 23:35

Labour. I want my children to have a free health service the same as I've enjoyed so far. The conservatives have already started selling it off, I have researched it and spoken to doctors, when they say they're not , they are lying. That's just one of many reasons. The manifesto is great (and costed). The people of this country dont seen to think they deserve better, but they do.
