As title really, I have plain platinum wedding band and a flawless brilliant white solitaire engagement ring. Any tips to clean without nipping out to look for jewellery cleaner, thinking household cleaning products.
Thanks

Try putting it in a glass of water and fairy liquid and leaving it to soak a while, then getting a gentle brush to get any crud off

Washing up liquid and a baby toothbrush. I use that on my engagement ring between proper cleans at a jewellers.

Washing up liquid and vodka or gin in a little jar. Drop them in, put the lid on, put it next to the sink and give it a little shake every time you see it. The water in the vodka and the washing up liquid dissolve anything water-soluble and help emulsify oils, and the alcohol shifts other organic gubbins.
