No 14 year olds I know would wear it. Voucher or cash works for my 14 year old twins.

SophieGiroux · 21/11/2019 21:40

Probably not, it's a bit old fashioned for a teenager

ScribblyGum · 21/11/2019 21:41

My 14yo wouldn’t. Sorry.

SuperSue77 · 21/11/2019 21:41

Stupid phone! Do you think

And a 14 yr old!

Brilliant, that’s all I needed to know! Thanks, back to the drawing board.

wlv12 · 21/11/2019 21:42

No, sorry. My 16 year old niece would think that old fashioned.

tensmum1964 · 21/11/2019 21:46

Nope.

SuperSue77 · 21/11/2019 21:52

While you’re there, what about this for a nearly 13 yr old who has asked for eyeshadow palette?

Go to Superdrug. You can get good quality stuff for less (or buy more for the same price)

Revolution is a good brand from there and there were lots of deals on it for Black Friday.

Teenagers and M&S don't mix really. They'll tolerate uniform or the food though.

Drinkciderfromalemon · 21/11/2019 22:07

Is there a reason you are looking at M and S? My dd is 14 and would not shop there other than bras...

WhereverIMayRoam · 21/11/2019 22:09

I don’t think you’ll find a whole lot in Marks fashion and beauty ranges that will appeal to many teenagers.

If you’re looking for a pallet in that price range Revolution have some nice ones, very popular with teens. Also look at NYX (Boots, Debenhams).

It might be worth starting a thread in the Christmas topic for some ideas. Posters can come up with all sorts that wouldn’t have occurred to you if you give some details of their interests.

Scarlettpixie · 21/11/2019 22:09

It’s nice but a bit old fashioned. I wouldn’t think so.

SuperSue77 · 21/11/2019 22:11

Just wanted to to take advantage of the 20% off at the moment! I’ll restrict the grown up presents to M&S and look elsewhere for the teenagers - thanks for the advice! Mine are still pre-teen and I’m not into make-up or jewellery myself.

I would avoid M&S like the plague for teens.

If you want makeup it's Kat Von D, Urban Decay, Jeffree Star, MAC, Benefit, NARS, NYX.....

If you want jewellery, I'd keep it small like a necklace with her name/first initial perhaps. I know a few teens who wear these 24/7. Don't know if it's a thing though.

SuperSue77 · 21/11/2019 22:12

Didn’t realise there was a Christmas topic, I’ll try there, thanks.

Glad you’ve taken the advice. No 14yo I know would use either of those. things.

Thefaceofboe · 21/11/2019 22:31

@SuperSue77 The necklace would be a bit old in my opinion (although it’s lovely and grown up) and I think the eye shadow would be lovely Smile

FanSpamTastic · 21/11/2019 23:10

My teenagers love Brandy Melville. They sell jewellery too.
