Is it possible to run at 100 miles per hour away from here?

I am not normally allowed to eat sugar, however, I have been feeling very low recently (due to my mum calling me ugly). I have eaten eight bard of chocolate this morning and am feeling a sugar rush at the moment. I have a diagnosis of Aspergers Syndrome and have no hope in life after my (close) grandparent passed away earlier this year. I have no hope and am miserable.

No, it's not possible. A cheetah is the fastest land animal and they can only do 70mph.

Usain Bolt has never managed more than 27 mph. And he's probably quicker than you.

If you manage to do it come visit me. I have wine. And a puppy. Wink

Flowers I’m sorry for your loss. It’s really hard when life feels hopeless.

Aw bless you. Are you able to get any counselling to help you deal with the loss of your grandparent?

Just know that your mum has her own issues - no decent parent would ever say that to a child, she’s cruel and verbally abusive. Whatever prompted her to say that, it isn’t you.

You certainly do need to get away (mainly from your mum by the sound of it). Eating your feelings is one way of dealing with them, but as you’ve found out, it presents a whole new problem of then feeling wired and guilty etc so it’s not a long term solution!

You might get some more help if you post with a more specific title about dealing with a toxic parent. Otherwise you might end up with more ‘wise cracks’ like the first poster.

Sorry I don’t have any words of wisdom, just didn’t want that first post to stand as your only answer. Hopefully someone useful will have seen it while I’ve been typing!

Why aren't you 'allowed' to eat sugar? Will eating 8 bars of chocolate actually have done you any harm (diabetic or something)? If so, do you need to get to a doctor or call 111?

I am really sorry for your loss. Is there anyone you can speak to in real life? Your Mum sounds horrible Sad
