Should I wait until Black Friday to buy a new Kindle Paperwhite? Hey

Posting here for traffic but also don't know where else to post this.
Long time (ish) poster here.

I've lost my PaperWhite Kindle which is my Godsend for reading at night to help me wind down in the evening (pls note the time of posting fellow uk people) before sleeping. I struggle to read books as my eyesight is poor (I can enlarge the font on the Paperwhite). Does anyone know if Amazon might reduce the cost of the Paperwhite in the Black Friday deals?

I bought mine on Black Friday a few years ago. It was about £20 cheaper than usual. It’s only in a couple of days isn’t it? Can you wait that long?

Yes, Amazon do usually do good Black Friday deals on their own products. I’m thinking about getting an Echo Dot. I’m waiting for BF. You should definitely wait.

i went to argos yesterday, they had one with the light up page 4gb for £55 or they had the kids version, which has the light 8gb, a case on it for £60 but the main bonus was the 2 year guarantee that comes with it as includes accidental damage and since dd stood on a previous one of mine i opted for that but will just turn off the kids restrictions

I’m getting dh one for Christmas and waiting for Black Friday. I’m hoping to get it from Curry’s or Argos as I want to pay cash.

They are already in the Black Friday sale at Currys, Argos and Amazon.

Right I’m off to Currys tomorrow, and Argos is just across the road from Currys so I should be able to get sorted. Trouble is if there was anything wrong with it when he sets it up in Xmas day how long would the receipt be valid for? 🤔
