I'm in my 40s but any general books are fine too.

I'm at the tail end of an extremely stressful period of my life and have seriously neglected my physical health, and mental health to a lesser extent. I do well with books/programmes that tell me exactly what to do and when, as otherwise I have a tendency to push myself far too hard and do far too much (see also: extremely stressful period of my life).

Please share anything that's worked for you or someone you know.

The 4 Pillars by Dr Rangún Chatterjee without a doubt.
Before I read this book I wasn’t aiming to loose weight but lost 7kg just by ditching processed foods from my diet.
It’s totally altered the way I eat, exercise, rest and sleep. It makes so much sense, you wonder why you ever ate foods packed with fat and sugar in the first place. He explains everything very clearly from a scientific point of view and it’s such an interesting read.
I feel less tired and much more positive than I ever did.
I’ve bought the book for 5 members of my family who all say the same as me.
I think every school child should read it. It’s totally changed my life for the better.

I was coming on to recommend the same book, The 4 Pillars.

I agree everyone should be issued with this book at birth, it is brilliant.
