My only concern is that it’s a clear rip-off of Jen Campbell’s lovely “Franklin and Luna” series, that they’ve obviously stolen because they can’t be arsed to come up with original characters of their own.

The author was very upset on Instastories yesterday.

Do the original creator a favour, and buy her excellent books, instead of some cheap John Lewis “Edgar” (cough, Franklin, cough) merch.

I love edgar, hes adorable. I had a look at the jen Campbell books, her dragons look very similar to the dragons in my little pony and the unicorns also remind of my little pony.

I think everyone who has written a book or painted a picture about an unloved dragon/monster befriended by a child will be out in force.

We have Jen Campbell claiming JL ripped off her dragon AND we have Danielle Smurthwaite claiming JL ripped off HER dragon.
Did JL rip off Jen's or Danielle's dragon? Did Jen rip off Danielle's dragon or did Danielle ripped off Jen's? Did everyone rip off everyone?
