Slowcooker that AUTOMATICALLY switches to 'keep warm function'

Hi all

Posting on here for traffic, if you don't mind

I am looking for a digital slow-cooker that automatically turns on to a keep warm function after the cooking time is complete

Also would be great if the crockpot was dishwasher proof too

I have had people suggest using a timer, but I don't want to do that.

If anyone owns something like what I have described, I would be very appreciative if you would point me in the right direction , please xx

I had one with an auto setting that did that.

Goingbacktokansascity · 14/11/2019 16:59

I have an instant pot which does this! £89 on amazon and I wash it in the dishwasher

BarbarAnna · 14/11/2019 17:00

Instant Pot has a slow cooker function and does that and lots of other things.

Cheesestrings123 · 14/11/2019 17:11

Pressure king Pro is also a slow cooker and also auto defaults to "keep warm". In fact, I've just made a casserole in it and it's currently in the kitchen on keep warm mode without me needing to press anything

Another vote for the instant pot. I love the way it switches to keep warm when its ready. Means we come in to a hot meal but not overcooked mush Smile

I've got a crockpot autostir I think the model is csc012 but it has exactly what you're after

Workerbeee · 14/11/2019 17:18

My crock pot from John Lewis does

CatToddlerUprising · 14/11/2019 17:21

Can recommend the King Pro

Morphy Richards sear and stew slow cooker does this. And the pot can go in the dishwasher.

Aquamarine1029 · 14/11/2019 17:25

You should definitely get an Instant Pot. I absolutely love mine, and the dishes that need all day to cook in a slow cooker and be done in less than an hour in the Instant Pot.

JessicaPeach · 14/11/2019 17:26

Yes to Instant Pot. There'll probably be a deal on them on Black Friday too, we got ours last year.

AuntImmortelle · 14/11/2019 17:26

I have a morphy Richards one that does this and is dishwasher friendly.

JigsawsAreInPieces · 14/11/2019 17:29

The cheapy one I got in Aldi last year goes to ”keep warm” once it's finished cooking.

Lovescookies · 14/11/2019 17:35

My Asda digital one does this, keeps warm for 4 hours once it's finished. I put mine on at 7:30 this morning ready for when I get home in an hour's time. I love it.

Sorry I don't know how to make the link clicky.

I’ve an instant pot and it does this automatically. Insert goes in the dishwasher. I love my instant pot

Hmmm I am sat here investigating these thank you so much all x

The King Pro one looks great, but perhaps pretty much overkill for me I thnk i would get confused with it, really it seems a 2 in 1 (confuses me) and i just want a slow cooker for when I am at work. I think I need to keep it simple as I am a bit of a newbie with cooking. I am really just finding my feet

Lovescookies, that one looks perfect, I need a 3.5L one and I cannot find one in that size (should have said that in my first message sorry about that)

I can't seem to find any smaller SCs that do this

If anyone knows any, please could you link me?

Sorry if I am coming across as a bit foolish. I am just learning to cook really and learn how to slow cook

If anyone could link me to a 3.5L ish size, I would really appreciate it x

I had that one before my instant pot and I loved it- no need to dirty another pan to brown the meat first. The instant pot does have the bonus of not even having to turn on the hob to brown it though!

King pro here too
