Bank statements??

the Fixed term period of our mortgage is coming to an end and we’ll be significantly increasing our mortgage to buy a new property. We can of course afford this and this isn’t the issue. However - they’re asking for bank statements and I’m a little concerned. I spend a reasonable amount online and my statements look quite ‘busy’. I live consistently within my means and save a reasonable amount each month but Aibu to be concerned?!

They won't be concerned about things you. It with disposable income. That's where they can see you could cut back if needed.

I wouldn't worry too much. My accounts looked very busy, but were always in credit and there was always money left in the account in between pay dates. As long as you're living within your means you should be fine

Thanks - that’s reassuring

One thing - I paid off a credit card (£1300 so only a small amount at the beginning of October and have no other debt). It’s not showing up on my credit check yet. How soon is this likely to be updated?
