Aibu to ask what is your starsign?

Just a continuation for me from a conversation I overheard on the train.

I don't believe in horoscopes as such. Well how can one forecast suit so many.

However, starsigns I do believe there is truth in those. I am a Taurus and display all of the Taurus characteristics.
DC are Gemini and Virgo and again seem to display the traits of those signs.

What is your starsign and are you 'typical' of that sign?

Based on superficial fortune cookie lists, I’ve always thought I was more Taurus than Aries. But the 13th star sign recalculation makes me a Pisces, and I can certainly recognise more Piscean traits than I can Aries!

Typical libra here. Complete paradox, and always looking for perfect balance in all things. Being overrun by my clumsy careless Cancer DH.

I'm a Gemini & fit the majority of the traits exceedingly well, especially the dual personality bit. DM says I'm the little girl with the curl in the rhyme because when I'm good I'm very good & when I'm bad I'm horrid! DM herself is a true Aries- vain, shallow, passionate- would have an epic tantrum if told this, DF a text book Scorpio- intense, secretive, passionate, jealous! The person I've dated and had the best connection with is a Sagittarius- bang on astrologically, apparently and he fits the profile.

Traits I don't fit/which piss me off: I'm a lot more loyal to friends, able to concentrate and commit and have a higher boredom threshold than many "Gemini Profiles" would suggest, and I'm scarily organised (incredibly tidy, too). Traits I do have: chatty/communicative, fast thinker, thirst for knowledge, prizes education highly, dual personality, mile a minute, can faithfully love for life with the right person but will walk away from anyone else in a heartbeat with the likelihood of straying. Seems all over the place but is shrewd & can make a good final decision and stick to it. Likes to make money.

Having said that though, whether it’s real or not, who cares. It provides comfort and explanation to people who are looking for it in their lives. For the rest of us, it’s just a bit of fun. Either way, no harm done
