Aibu to ask what is your starsign?

Just a continuation for me from a conversation I overheard on the train.

I don't believe in horoscopes as such. Well how can one forecast suit so many.

However, starsigns I do believe there is truth in those. I am a Taurus and display all of the Taurus characteristics.
DC are Gemini and Virgo and again seem to display the traits of those signs.

What is your starsign and are you 'typical' of that sign?

A good friend of mine is very 'woo' (I can overlook this as she's so kind) and I've been to a few of these 'mystic fair' things with her - stalls selling crystals and joss sticks, palm readers, chakra balancers etc. Anyway, there have been a few people I've met at these things who have said '..and you must be a Libra, you look just like one'. Fair enough, I am but just how many people in this world have blonde hair, blue eyes and a big rubbery gob?

I’m not like my star sign and nor is my husband like his. Or our daughter. I think it’s questionable.

I'm a scorpio and I don't think I fit the typical traits at all.

I'm an incredibly typical Leo.
Worship and admire me and you'll be fine.

Cancer
I do have a lot of cancer characteristics-a bit crabby but generally decent and caring. I'm a nurse which is a typical nurse career.

Also I love being close to the sea. My favourite place in the world is the Cornwall coast. Plenty of crabs there!

Yep.. typical Taurean, throat issues, glutton, lust after what they can’t have, stubborn or sit on the fence. Yet can’t bring myself to read horoscopes as they are piffle for most of the population. For those who horoscopes seem bang on, it’s purely circumstantial/ coincidental by dint of probabilities.

I too have the Taurus throat issues.

Yes for me they are. I don't know this when I first meet/make friends with them. Taurus and Aries actually.

Libras that I know are good to have fun with, like beauty & fashion, flirty & a bit superficial & vain.

I’m a Leo and have all the traits also a rabbit in the Chinese zodiac and suit that too
My 3 children have different signs and each suit they zodiac

@Carrotcakeforbreakfast same here if I click with someone very quickly they generally turn out to be Taurus.

I'm a virgo and so is my DP as we share our birthday.

I would say we both have some virgo traits but neither of us have all of them! And our personalities are polar opposites. He is hot headed and loses patience quickly whereas I have got a lot of patience and it takes alot to get me worked up, I'm too laid back if anything!

But we do share basic morals and both have the same views of what we want from life so I guess we aren't too different

@GreySheep same here. My strongest, most noticeable traits to me and everyone who knows me are definitely Libran. Inability to make decisions, the foolish belief that life should be fair etc.
DSis however is a very typical Virgo with her authoritative job, no nonsense approach, ability to upset someone with her frank manner and her like of order. I always think Ben and Holly's Nanny Plum is a Virgo because she really reminds me of my dear sister .

Horoscopes though I think are a load of hogwash. I can almost believe starsigns but telling the future? No.

I'm Aries, and have a LOT of typical Aries traits, which is good and bad at the same time! :)
