If you receive an invite for a child's party and it's very short notice so it's obvious that someone else has pulled out and they're just filling a space do you accept and just go or decline if they weren't originally invited?

@reallyrandomwords

No not you. Grin

I’d much rather have “too much” notice than a few days notice for an outdoor party in November 🙄

@needmoresleep1

I know right. Asking us around an hour into the party.

Like we would just drop everything and go around - just like that! Hmm

My dd had this

It was like a week notice and it was obvious she was a backup

She didn’t care! All she cared was, that she got to go.

So I let her and she had a fab time

Well if any of those that didn't come to ours yesterday did it because they assumed they were second best, they're the ones that missed out! We had a great time, all the kids loved it. So their loss.

I just handed out invites on Friday for a party in 2 weeks time. I'm worried if that was enough notice now? Didn't want to do it to early so people forget... X
