I've read the tattle threads on MOD and they were very entertaing but my god that's the end of that carrea.

And now Candice Braithwaite has been outed as she was a pimp on a Jodie marsh documentary about sex workers because of all the attention on MoD. I don't see how she will be able to get ad money from family brands now.

So many of them seem to present a totally fake persona on their instagram and youtube

OP posts:
KatnissMellark · 09/11/2019 07:28

Well, duh.

Newbie1981 · 09/11/2019 07:29

Haha where have you been??

Mayborn · 09/11/2019 07:29

I can’t speak for all, I hope they’re not. However I do know one, she spends most of her time swearing and shouting at her children whilst staging her next idyllic insta family moment in order to get lots of free stuff!

00100001 · 09/11/2019 07:30

Is this your first day on the internet???

sauvignonblancplz · 09/11/2019 07:30

Yep

NabooThatsWho · 09/11/2019 07:32

Yeah of course it’s fake. It’s just a money making business.
Usually middle or upper class attractive white women flogging shit to the peasants. Ad, Ad, Ad.
Also selling their children’s privacy to the highest bidder.
I hope the whole thing collapses.

Powergower · 09/11/2019 07:42

The fact that Candice has posted a total lie of statement saying she was a sex worker, When actually she was a PIMP trading out vulnerable women males me sick. She commodified women and is now lying about it, yet her following has increased. The fawners are out in force. There's a vacancy at the top of the pyramid scheme and she wants it. What an odious character.

NotACleverName · 09/11/2019 07:42

Of course it’s all fake. I’m not a parent, but if I was there’s no way in hell I’d flog my child(ren)’s lives for free shit/Instagram clout.

MarshaBradyo · 09/11/2019 07:50

Of course. Everyone wants to sell a bit for money. Children included. If everyone unfollowed they wouldn’t exist.

I have no idea if brands will stop working with someone who was in a sex working documentary though.

Raver84 · 09/11/2019 07:51

Of course it's fake.

MarshaBradyo · 09/11/2019 07:51

It does remind me of Heathers kill the top one and watch them all scrabble.

Sunnysidegold · 09/11/2019 07:54

"is this your first day on the internet"!!!!

Grin
CAG12 · 09/11/2019 07:59

Im happy you've realised its all bollocks

Honestly I just stay away from insta. Its largely people lying for money and popularity.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 09/11/2019 08:03

I don't follow any of them, I can't stand that industry. So cringe with their attempts to seem "relatable" with all the "lol gin" type posts. Plus ads after ads. Yawn.

SandraOhshair · 09/11/2019 08:05

Of course it all is. Hopefully though, most followers see they are getting the best version of someone's life. What I dont get, is when people get over invested in the whole instamums thing or start bitching about them.
Fair play to anyone that can get a free Hoover just by posting pictures. I couldn't care less if they show products and gush about them. To be honest, that's not the type of account I follow.

lowlandLucky · 09/11/2019 08:07

Dont "get" insta or any other SM, who cares about the staged lives of strangers ?

SandraOhshair · 09/11/2019 08:08

That last sentence made me sound very sanctimonious. What I meant to say is, if you dont like what they represent, dont follow them in the first place (or once you've decided they get on your tits).

merrygoround51 · 09/11/2019 08:08

What I could never understand is how anyone would be inspired by the utter mediocrity of them all!

Thehop · 09/11/2019 08:12

Of course it is! It’s just their jobs! Totally fake.

Figgygal · 09/11/2019 08:17

I read about this story yesterday so had a look on her insta within about 30 seconds I thought this is just not the world I am interested in it just seems so vacuous and fake the idea that people actually make a career or make money out of this is just mind-boggling to me

Allycumpooster · 09/11/2019 08:18

I think that a huge amount of the followers are other insta mums hoping to get some inspiration on how to get 100k+ followers. It’s a merry go round of self congratulatory bollocks.

scubadive · 09/11/2019 08:20

I saw another thread on this, didn’t understand a word, may as well have been in French.

What’s MOD, who’s candice?

Peggywoolley · 09/11/2019 08:27

I deleted Instagram last year. I didn’t follow any of them but Instagram kept sending me sponsored ads to get me to and I couldn’t stand any of it.

daisypond · 09/11/2019 08:33

What is MOD? I looked at the link and am none the wiser. Likewise Candice and Jordan. Everything on Instagram is fake/highly selective.

Smelborp · 09/11/2019 08:35

I’m on Instagram and have literally never heard of any of these people until these posts on here.

You don’t have to give them oxygen.
