7 year constantly complaining of stomach pain? Aibu to think it's anxiety related?

He had blood tests, scans and saw a consultant last year but they found nothing. It settled down but since starting Year 2 he complains about it a lot, often in tears. He says he's not worried but I wonder if it's this and he can't articulate that right feeling you get when you're worried. He struggles with maths and writing at school. What can I do to help him. He complains before school but seems fine at weekends.

Stomach migraines and / or worry I would say likely. My son also had them at bedtime. He may not be able to identify his worries but you seem to have done. Gently talk it through with him and highlight that if he tries that is good enough. He may not get it yet, one day he will. I bought my son a cuddly yeti which is to remind him that if he doesn't get something now/yet one day he will. He cuddles him when he's anxious about that sort of thing and his worries have lessened as he's got older.
