So we live in a new build house, our kitchen diner is small. I need a bigger dining table. Currently 6 of us squish around a small table. I wanted to fit a corner bench set. However the radiator is smack bang in the middle of the wall.

A drop leaf table would not work as we use our table all the time and we need sturdy chairs/seats. So does anyone have any ideas apart from. Getting rid of the radiator that would make using the seats next to the wall less of a squeeze?

Can you post a picture of the area?

Does it have to be a corner bench? Would a straight bench fit?

A straight bench would fit yes
