Sorry for posting for traffic but I really need some advice and hoping someone might have some thoughts/experience.
I went to uni in 2015. I wasn't ready for uni at this point and left after two months.
I went back to uni in 2017 but my partner was emotionally abusive and forced me to leave. Constantly threatening to kill himself, etc. So I left after a week.
Fast forward to this year, we've been broken up for a year, I'm a single mum and have chosen to go back to uni doing a fast track degree as I thought I was entitled to 2 years and they've told me I'm not entitled to funding but can apply for compelling circumstances. I don't have any evidence of my above reasons for leaving for the second time so I'm wondering does anyone know if this compelling evidence needs to be something proven with supporting evidence or whether it is discretionary?
Any advice would be very much appreciated!
