To ask you to look at this rash of mine please

I'm in the Caribbean atm due to fly home tonight and I woke up covered in this rash yesterday morning. It wasn't itchy but now is. I took an antihistamine yesterday and it's gone down abit but not a lot. My husband thinks it's heat rash but I've been here 2 weeks so used the heat and my mum thinks it's an allergic reaction. Can anyone help me out with what it could be please? It started on my legs and has now spread to my arms and stomach. Thanks!

I think that looks like urticaria (or hives) and is an allergic reaction. It's usually caused by an unknown allergen, and it might be a delayed reaction to something ingested, either medicine or food, from before you trip. It's also possible you might never know what has caused this reaction. Antihistamines are the best form of treatment if it is hives.

That's interesting. Thank you for your help!

Looks like hives to me too. I would keep on top of antihistamines and I find putting cold, wet cloths on hives helps soothe them. Obviously only guessing that going by pictures and I'm not a medical professional

Looks like my PLE.

Heat rash can take a while to develop too, it could still be that.

To me this how a food reaction looked. I am allergic to nuts and this is exactly how it looked. Please get some antihistamines, I had to go to the hospital that one time, it was terrible. Good luck!

We did a chocolate plantation tour and I ate a load of things from trees and plants so it could be that! I've got an 8 hour flight tonight so hoping it dosent get worse although it is still spreading! Thanks for all your help everyone x

That’s hives. I get it when I eat soy, or from loads of sunscreens I’m also allergic to.

And I've just been stung by a black wasp and I can't see if the sting is still in me because it's on my back and my husbands gone hiking. Im sick of this bloody island!
