I work for Santander. Personally, I’d rather we weren’t financing someone with a drink driving conviction but from what I understand the deal was signed before then.

I assume all of Ant and Decs' finances are transacted through Santander and if not why not, since they are advertising them..?

It’s probably because Ant and Dec are such superstars that the bank decided to offer them squillions to advertise their brand. Santander is a huge bank. That’s probably why.
Let’s not forget the likes of Julia Roberts plugging a perfume or George Clooney flogging coffee capsules.
