I think the science centre is meant to be brilliant!

Where in Glasgow are you going to be? It’s a big city and if you only have a short time you don’t want to spend that time travelling?

lineslinesandmorelines · 29/10/2019 11:01

Soar at Braehead has lots of activities and not far to travel.

Kelvingrove art gallery is free, and the park is just next to it

Autumnhere1111 · 29/10/2019 11:08

Another one for Kelvingrove museum.
Visited friends recently up there

Go to transport museum. It’s brilliant. Absolutely fantastic! And free.

More South Glasgow, about 8 miles outside city centre.

Soar looks fab, they would love the indoor snow.

If you're wrapped up warm then Rouken Glen is a lovely park in the south side

TheSandman · 29/10/2019 11:15

Science Centre was my first thought. My kids love it.

Not fond of Kelvin Grove after they f*ked it all up a few years ago with that massively expensive refit that ripped the soul out of the place.

Pollok park
Flip out
Museum of rural life

Bebraveandcarryon · 29/10/2019 11:19

I had looked at the school museum online, it looked interesting.
Will take a look at the science centre

East Kilbride? About 8 miles southeast the Museum of rural life

OtraCosaMariposa · 29/10/2019 11:20

South of city centre then definitely Pollok Park, it's massive and there is loads to do. Or Whitelee Wind Farm, there's a visitor centre, cafe and you can walk for miles. great views north over the city and beyond to the Trossachs. Great day for it too!
