What should I take daily to increase my energy levels & improve general well-being? I am folate deficient too if that changes things. I would also like to lose weight and help my skin! Thanks :-)

If you feel like something is missing ask your GP for vitamins and minerals blood tests.
Vitamins can cause issues if you have to much of some

I take vitamin D, a glucosamine & turmeric supplement for my joints, and Menopace as I'm menopausal.

Vitamin D, vitamin C, magnesium, zinc , B12 and iron

DonKeyshot · 29/10/2019 05:26

I take vitamin d and biotin for skin hair and nails. I use spray-on magnesium oil for muscle strains/pains and cramp as it's the quickest way to get it into the system.

I'm considering adding calcium, zinc, and possibly a B complex supplement to the above.

HeadBrickWall · 29/10/2019 05:40

I take vit D (Dr ordered, blood test deficient)
Then I alternate I day a multivitamin and the other day Vit C, iron and Calcium/Magnesium.

Fantail · 29/10/2019 05:41

Vitamin D and Omega 3 (one made out of algae as I’m allergic to fish).

RibenaMonsoon · 29/10/2019 06:05

I'm still taking my pregnancy vitamins
After I had DS 3 years ago I kept on taking them. They give me tons of energy and are high in all the B vitamins and biotin for nails and hair.
The only thing they don't have is vitamin A but I get plenty of that in my diet anyway. I have 4 month old DD who is EBF so I'm still on them and plan to be even after I've stopped. I love them. They make me so much more energetic, which is what you need with 2 small children.

NerdyCurvyInkedandPervy · 29/10/2019 06:11

I take magnesium for restless legs at night and vitamin c because I'm anemic and it helps with the absorption of iron.
