I gave my 1 year old DS two doses of ibuprofen today as he’s teething, he’s also got a spotty rash on him that I thought was eczema, but on closer inspection tonight it seems he may have chicken pox. I know that you’re not supposed to give ibuprofen when they have chicken pox. There’s nothing I can do now, do I need to contact 111 or the GP tomorrow?

Just monitor him and don't give him any more. You weren't to know. I only found this out after my then 8 and 4 had already suffered from it. My poor children.

It can lead to adverse skin reactions but I'm sure 2 doses wouldn't have too much effect. Just avoid it from now on
