Take it off the joint and bung it under the grill.

PurpleDaisies · 27/10/2019 16:33

Have you got a cooks blow torch? Or put it under the grill?

MiddleClassProblem · 27/10/2019 16:35

Grill or pan fry but will spit a lot for the latter

mankyfourthtoe · 27/10/2019 16:36

Yes carve it off and put it back in the oven while it rests.

Dhalandchips · 27/10/2019 16:36

Oh no, no grill! Or blow torch! So sad! (I know there are more important things to worry about!)
Thank you

While the meat is resting, cut the crackling away from the joint, then grill it on high? Maybe add a little more salt to the under side of the crackling? Think that’s what I would do but am no master chef.

I've put it back in the oven! I'm sure it'll all be lovely regardless. I've been starving the kids for hours, they'd love anything I out in front of them 😁 thank you

Put it in the microwave!! Perfect instant crackling every time - it’s my husbands trick and everyone raves about it being the best crackling ever

comfysocks8516 · 27/10/2019 16:52

(Just the crackling - not the pork obviously!!)

Dhalandchips · 27/10/2019 17:41

Oh tits, left the stuffing in the oven!
