Holiday situation - AIBU?

6 adults go on holiday. 2 couples have nice double bedrooms. 1 couple has a twin room with two single beds and has to pay the same. Is this unfair or AIBU?

Has it been discussed who is in which room or are you presuming it’ll be you?

If it’s not been discussed, I’d send a message with a ‘how should we split the costs of the rooms as paying 1/3 each won’t be right when the rooms are so different’

Just push the beds together.

The en-suite rooms are clearly better but for a holiday with friends I’d not worry about it. In fact, I had this scenario this summer. I happily volunteered to take the worse room and let my friend have the en-suite. I’m on a holiday with friends, not a romantic break. I was literally in the room to sleep. It doesn’t set up a good dynamic if you’re in the same house, using the same amenities but one person has paid more.

Am I the only one that doesn’t understand this thread??? Surely when you’re browsing accommodation, you skip the ones that don’t suit your needs? Just google some other options?!

I'd pay more to get a bed to myself 😬

Its not the bed issue for me, but the bathroom issue.
If the other 2 have en suite and you have use of main bathroom, fine.
But if the main bathroom includes the only bath and others want to use it, will they be happy you using their ensuite in meantime?
I see that as more serious problem than the beds.

It doesn't sound workable so look for somewhere else.
