To think Corrie did a wonderful job.

We’ve just watched and there is not a dry eye in the house (except DH). I think the producers did a great job for raising awareness and as for the acting!
The good thing is my two teen DDs are asking all sorts of questions about cancer.
The cast and crew deserve a real clap on the back.

Still sobbing. But I lost my mum 6 months ago so I guess it was triggering.

Zebraaa · 25/10/2019 21:03

Incredibly sad! Amazing acting and script.

HollowTalk · 25/10/2019 21:05

It was very sad, but wasn't it very quick? I haven't seen it for a couple of months and she was told then it was terminal.

AmIThough · 25/10/2019 21:06

I cried my eyes out. I have a young baby and I couldn't cope with the idea of having to leave her behind one day. They did a fantastic job.

Vilanelle · 25/10/2019 22:30

Awful to watch. My 25 year old friend has finally booked a smear because of the storyline. Great awareness being raised and fantastic acting.

TheBigFatMermaid · 25/10/2019 22:33

It was beautifully done!

Bayleaf25 · 25/10/2019 22:36

It was brilliant x and I sobbed like a baby x

TheTrollFairy · 25/10/2019 22:38

I haven’t watched it for ages. What happened? Did Sinead (sp?) die?

PennyNotSoWise · 25/10/2019 22:40

Very sad, especially when Daniel walked out into the street holding little baby Bertie after Sinead had passed away :( So moving.

I hope it hammers home the importance of smears.

Was it just me, or was it filmed completely differently this week due to it being a 'special'? The picture looked a lot different to how it usually does. Or has it been that way for a while?

Fruitbatdancer · 25/10/2019 22:42

Can’t watch it yet. Recently lost a friend and have another going through it. Need to put my big girl pants on. Very well done (but awfully close to home)

Pieceofpurplesky · 25/10/2019 22:45

I have not watched it as I do not watch Corrie but I hope it makes people go and be tested. Well done for tackling such a powerful issue

RaynaJaymes · 26/10/2019 13:10

Penny I noticed the difference in filming too

Only watched today. So beautifully done
Just the most heart wrenching, stay with you ending.
They deserve all the awards

Anychance123 · 26/10/2019 14:04

@AmIThough I sobbed my heart out too. I also have a young baby and it terrifies me the thought of leaving her.
