Is no hot food a deal breaker?

If a soft play centre didn’t serve hot food at weekends, would it put you off going?

I’d rarely buy food at a soft play so no. At most we would buy a coffee/cake

Ahundredpercentthatbitch · 25/10/2019 13:07

No. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten hot food at a soft play.

mankyfourthtoe · 25/10/2019 13:45

A lot of your profit should come from food. Are you offering enough to tempt.

EmpressJewel · 25/10/2019 13:52

No. The food in the ones I've been to hasn't been very nice for the prices they charge.

Her0utdoors · 25/10/2019 13:52

I'd want there to be a savory option, but cold sandwiches would be enough.

AntCrawley · 25/10/2019 13:53

Around here they do hot food. I usually like a hot drink and if there is birthday parties on the menu then it will put me off from having it there but just to visit then no.
Also if u are in an area where people have to travel to get to you and there arent places to eat nearby they may be annoyed so it depends on location and whether you will be hosting partiee

RitaMills · 25/10/2019 13:54

No, when I did soft play it was always just coffee and cake. Hot food was always overpriced and rubbish.

mankyfourthtoe · 25/10/2019 14:27

A on butties go down a storm at our local one

mankyfourthtoe · 25/10/2019 14:27

Duh bacon butties

InsertFunnyUsername · 25/10/2019 14:28

No but I dont eat food there anyway. No hot drinks would be a deal breaker for me though!

GreySheep · 25/10/2019 14:36

Hot drinks - essential

Hot food - not essential as long as lovely other choices.

Crystal87 · 25/10/2019 14:57

Hot and cold drinks and snacks I'd say are essential. Hot food preferable, because I have seen people eating in there. But it doesn't have to be full on meals, things like paninis, toasties, chips, that's kind of thing.
