I know this isn't really the place for this but I am tearing my hair out! I want to cancel a contract on a phone I no longer use, no longer has a SIM card in it. I can't receive the texts to verify me (see above) I failed their authentication process when I called because I couldn't remember how I last upgraded (it must have been 5 years ago). I work so don't have time to go to the shop. Ffs why do they have to make it so bloody complicated?!

Just go to the shop... Presumably you get days off.

Although, I also had issues with EE and got nowhere through customer services. Less than a day after I put in a formal complaint everything was resolved. Try that?
