Sky broadband buddy app

Posting here for traffic. Does the Sky broadband buddy app work if the child's mobile phone is using 4g data with another network? Home WiFi is Sky. Child's phone is Virgin Mobile.

Husband (who works for sky) says it does work as it sets up a vpn in the device which routes everything through the sky server regardless of the network the device is on. He thinks you might need to subscribe to broadband boost though to make it work. Hope that's helpful!

It's all set up with vpn etc. Just wanted to check and make sure . Thankyou
