Working away...

Hi... I have just read a similar thread but from a long time ago so am refreshing the debate! My husband was made redundant nearly two years ago and now works for one individual project managing his 'assets', such as boats and properties. This is meaning that he is away for probably now about 50% of the time. We have a 7 and 4 year old and I work too, albeit flexibly but also demanding.

At the start of this I was quite encouraging, or shall we say supportive, of his new work but as time goes on I am really down about the whole situation.
I know that plenty of people do this and make it work or have no choice but this really does feel like his choice and there are other options.
I have, of course, told him this isn't working and now I am starting to see some impact on the children too.
Is this something I should just 'grin and bear' or time to take drastic action...
