To think what is the point of a general election now?

Just what is the point as all the election will be about is bloody Brexit!!! What about all the other stuff - nhs, schools etc. I am not sure my vote would necessarily tie up with who I would normally vote for as Brexit in the for front of my mind.

Wouldn’t it just be better to get the deal / withdrawal agreement agreed and through parliament and then just have a binding people’s vote on deal, no deal or remain?
Then we could have a general election and vote on other issues...

Yes I understand why we shouldn’t have another referendum but I can’t see any other way forward....

The point is they can’t get it through due to not having a majority- a GE would(hopefully) result in a majority gov - at least that’s the idea

Also give Johnson chance to go for no deal while they are distracted (Parliament not sitting)

A second referendum is the only option inky opinion
