Half of a local, heavily used, road is being turned into a lorry park. If it has to be used as such, there will be a traffic jam from the South coast to London. I'm hoping sense will prevaIl and there won't be a 'No Deal let's go right now' in November but what's happening where you are?

Yep. Massive lorry park near me on a dual carriageway. Even the building of it has caused problems.

Actual LOL that people are such snowflakes that they find gammon offensive! How fucking ironic Grin

longwayoff · 23/10/2019 22:26

Don't let it bother you @Uterus, it's just the usual deflection technique employed by those with nothing to say "look over there, don't look at the lorries, what about My Feelings?" Much feeling, little thinking.

I applied for the first passport for my DD born late September. I specifically applied ASAP after the birth, and before October 31st, so that we could get her a red passport bearing the words ‘European Union’.

Her passport arrived with us on Thursday 17th October - ie, well before the Brexit Oct 31st deadline.

However, whilst it is red, it is very interesting to note that the front cover and inside page have removed the words ‘European Union’.

Photo attached shows my son’s passport issued in 2017 (with ref to EU) compared to my daughter’s passport issued in 2019, but before October 31st, on the right, which suggests that Brexit has already happened!

But it's not blue! What's going on? This is another remainer betrayal of staunch Brexiteers fighting for sovereignty (but not as evidenced by John Bercow - who's just doing his job), democracy (for a minority of the population) and a return to the land of Dad's Army.
