To love the taste of amoxicillin?!

Ds3 has a chest infection (is much better now thankfully) and been prescribed liquid amoxicillin - the yellow liquid one. Honestly I just love it, it reminds me of my child hood when I used to have it. The taste and the smell...I don't know what it is!

Anyone else or am I just weird?

Let me be the first to say that you are undoubtedly weird it's the stuff of the devil. It smells of illness.

@ashtrayheart I always called it banana medicine as a kid but there's defo a bit of lemon in there too!

I used to love the taste of this! Apparently as a child I asked my mum for 'more bin-liner medicine please' and she's always said that was more appropriate than banana ..!

I had recurrent ear and throat infections as child, consequently meaning lots of antibiotics.
I loved the yellow medicine! Banana/lemony flavour, it was the best.

My sis and I used to do tixylix shots as a digestif.

I don't know if any remembers Andrews, but it was an effervescent drink, I think for stomach pain. It was powder you'd add to water. As kids, me and my sister used to drink it and pretend it was lemonade.

The old school strawberry Tixylix was the best!! @PearlsBeforeWine
