Maybe your getting confused with Jason Manford ( a comedian) who did present the one show for a while? Matt Baker did strictly years ago and was in the final I think. He did well anyway!

I don’t watch the One Show (kids bedtime) but he has referred to presenting it on the podcast that he and his wife, Rosie, do (called Shagged, Married, Avoid - it’s really good 👍).
