AIBU to think that having the Mirena removed is to blame for mood swings?

I had it removed on Wednesday and I’ve spent the last 5 days screaming irrationally at dh and our children. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not exactly Mary Poppins but I don’t recognise the person that is now flying off the handle at the smallest thing.
Anyone had similar and, if so, does it sort itself out? 😢

Having the mirena out will have removed the hormones it provides and cause a hormonal shift within you, so yes it could be.

It should settle down, if so, within six weeks, unless you have hormone issues.
