I don't want notifications about deliveries where you tell me what is being delivered. You are a bitch, don't you realise people have started buying Christmas presents and you are telling everyone in the house what I have fucking bought Angry

Can you not say, "Alexa, stop telling me about deliveries"?

IsolaPribby · 20/10/2019 10:15
Grin

Just tell her!

Alexa, stop delivery notifications!

Should do the trick?

Bluntness100 · 20/10/2019 10:18

Just turn off the notifications for goodness sake.

ShitUsername · 20/10/2019 10:19

😂😂😂

heartsonacake · 20/10/2019 10:20

You can’t be angry at a device because you haven’t learned how to use it.

CupoTeap · 20/10/2019 10:21

She's laughing at me with her yellow flashing.

Dc are still at the table from a late breakfast and know the sneaky cow is waiting for me to talk to her and she will spill her guts.

You can turn it off.

As I decided to work it out after it nearly gave away DS’s birthday gifts 😂

CupoTeap · 20/10/2019 10:23

I've already had to hand over a book cause someone in the house decided to listen to her when she flashed at them.

Just say Alexia delete notifications, you don't need to listen to the notification first.

Serin · 20/10/2019 10:24

Your love honey delivery......?Grin

Whathappenedtothelego · 20/10/2019 10:25

She did this to me too. I have turned it off now, but I didn't realise she even did it before she announced to the whole room what was arriving.

I didn't even ask her to tell me anythingAngry.

CupoTeap · 20/10/2019 10:27

Ask "alexa, what did the fox say?" as a distraction technique

Themazeoflife · 20/10/2019 10:29

I actually say delete all notifications just incase there's more than one.

WaningGibbous · 20/10/2019 10:29

She spent weeks glowing yellow at us before I realised what was going on. Because it looks more green than yellow to me. I was googling away "why is Alexa green?" and had to try all sorts. Now I've managed to turn it off for me but not DH so that's how I found out about my birthday presents.

CupoTeap · 20/10/2019 10:32

Oh no warning, I'd hate to actually find out what was for my present.

Would have been a disaster as it's dds Sprocket that's coming.

AllStarBySmashMouth · 20/10/2019 10:37

ah yes, this happened to my mum and her partner. The dreaded yellow flash that means someone has bought something.

Really must figure out if there's a way to disable that. I've never looked.
